What they say............
The SKETCH - "Upbeat and heartfelt melodies of Saves The Day, Piebald and Weezer with well placed synth of Motion City Soundtrack...this quartet unleashed a handful of energetic and invigorating tunes...Expect to hear a lot more from The Sketch, they're some of the best kids playing passionate indie pop rock in the country!" - BIG CHEESE (Magazine)
ONSTAGE: 8:15 pm
REVOLUTION 78 - Blistering dark pop…..early U2, Editors and Interpol are certainly touchstones …the drummer is a big hitter, the bass man holds it all down brilliantly with his Holger Czukay meets Jon Entwistle gravitas whilst the singer and guitarist are simply breath takingly original in their approach to their chosen forms. A great act. Whisper it, but the sheer intensity and single mindedness here could make Rev 78 the noughties answer to Joy Division…" Bugbear Promotions.
ONSTAGE: 8:40pm
BETA RAYS - "A particle leaving a nucleus at a speed of 270,000 kilometres per second" ... they say
ONSTAGE: 9:05pm
MR TWIST - London based quintet. Mr Twist craft intelligent but catchy and danceable songs inspired by the likes of Deep Purple, Foo Fighters, Manics, Focus, Yes, Incubus, Muse, Led Zep and the Police.
ONSTAGE: 9:30 pm
